Product Overview

EKIN Coated Fries 10x10 (Product code SF4200) are Grade AA potatoes of European origin with a special batter coating. The coating delivers extra crispiness and an extended holding time, perfect for delivery, takeaway and high-volume food service.

Ingredients

Potato (91%), Sunflower Oil (4%). Additives/excipients: Modified Starches (Potato, Maize), Rice Flour, Maltodextrin, Salt, Raising Agents (E450i, E500II), Stabiliser (E415).

Preparation

  • Deep fryer: Fry small batches in hot oil at 175°C / 347°F for 3:30 – 4:00 minutes. Drain on absorbent paper before serving.
  • Oven: Preheat to 220°C / 425°F. Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking tray and bake for 8 – 13 minutes, turning halfway through cooking.
  • Air fryer: Cook small batches at 200°C for 12 – 15 minutes. Shake every 5 minutes to prevent clumping.

This product is not ready to eat and needs to be cooked before serving.

Storage

Keep frozen at -18°C for up to 24 months. Recommendations: -4°C for 1 week, 4°C for 24 hours. Do not refreeze once thawed.
